Drop off and pickup at the Faro airport; single ride €55 per person, shared ride €45 per person (2 people), €35 per person, (3 or more). Pickup from Lagos is free.
As extra treatments we offer Swedish massage, Lymph drainage massage, Thai Yoga massage, , Sacro Cranial Therapy, Bioresonanse Therapy, Reflexology, Healing, Reiki, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Shiatsu, Physiospect, Re-Connection Healing. (We endeavour to have the extra treatments available for all programs, but some are dependant on the availability of the therapist). The cost for the extra treatments is from €65 to €85 per session. · Boutique items; essential toiletries, books and jewellery
There is no mobile phone signal in the valley, but you can usually connect up the hill.
All the extras are payable at the end of the stay.  

What to Expect  

You will have a vegetable soup on Saturday evening. You will be fasting from Sunday morning. The daily programme of juices is: 7.30am lemon tea, 10am - a jug of orange juice, 1pm - a jug of fruit juice, 4pm - a single glass of vegetable juice and at 7pm - a mixed vegetable broth which contains lots of minerals. It is a simple juice diet, with various supplements to assist your body with the detoxification process and to push toxins out of your digestive system. At all times we provide lemon water and herbal teas which you can take freely. If, for any reason you break the fast early, we are not able to provide regular meals during the fasting programs.  

Accommodation: Rooms are simple and basic with an attached shower and toilet room. An individual patio/relaxation/reading area adjoins each room. Rooms have telephones (outgoing calls only). Incoming calls are received at the main house. Although there is no mobile phone signal in the valley, a signal is generally found just a short walk up the hill. In the main house there is a central computer for internet access. The central clinic building houses the treatment rooms, the QRS Magnet Healing bed, Foot detox equipment, zapping equipment, a relaxation area and a small library.  

Therapies: On the first morning a schedule is open to make your therapy reservations. We will also show you how to use the Clysmatic, a gentle colonic cleansing system you administer yourself in the privacy of your bathroom.

Exercise, Meditation and Relaxation: Each morning at 8am there is Meditation and Yoga, (Qigong once a week). Every evening there is meditation. Attendance to both of these is highly recommended as these are designed to assist in your detoxification process.

During the detoxification process, blockages and tensions held in the physical, mental and emotional levels of the body are released, these practices help you to let go of them, to relax properly and to sleep more comfortably. During the day you can relax, swim, have a therapy session, explore and walk around the area and help out in the organic gardens. There are a collection of videos and DVD's of related subjects and movies to watch. On alternate days the Sauna is on in the early evening. The Hot tub is on every day. One day each week we have an outing, weather dependent, either to one of the beautiful local Algarve beaches or to Lagos.

You should arrive on Saturday, the day before your program starts.
Your room will be ready for you by early afternoon,
but you can arrive anytime during the day.

Departure is on the last day of the program, which for the two weeks and seven days programs is also on a Saturday. Check out time is 12 noon. Departure for the 10 days program is on a Tuesday.

The day before the program starts we serve a soup in the evening and give some information about the program. For the seven days and ten days programs you will be breaking the fast on your own, but we will provide you with a healthy food basket to take with you and information how to break the fast. For the two weeks program we break the fast on day 11 and serve breakfast on the day of departure.

Transport from Faro airport is not included but pick up from Lagos is free.

If you would like us to pick you up at Faro Airport, please advise us of your flight number and the time of your arrival and we will be there to meet you. Upon entering the arrival hall TURN LEFT and look for somebody with our sign "Moinhos Velhos".
