You should arrive the day that your program starts, which is always a Saturday.

Your room will be ready for you by early afternoon, but you can arrive anytime during the day.

Departure is on the last day of the program, which for the two weeks and seven days programs is also on a Saturday. Check out time is 12 noon. Departure for the 10 days program is on a Tuesday.

The day that the program starts we serve a soup in the evening and we give some information about the program.

For the seven days and ten days programs you will be breaking the fast on your own, but we will provide you with a healthy food basket to take with you and information how to break the fast.

For the two weeks program we break the fast on day 11 and serve breakfast on the day of departure.

All rooms have attached bathrooms with shower, toilet, sink and a Clysmatic. 
The cottages have two separate bathrooms.
All the herbs, the juices and broth, powders and pills are included in the program cost. Also included is use of our salt water pool, sauna, hot tub, QRS magnet healing bed, detox foot bath, colonic irrigation and zapping, weekly excursion trips to the West Coast or Lagos.

As extra treatments we offer Swedish massage, Lymph drainage massage, Thai Yoga massage, Aromatherapy massage, Sacro Cranial Therapy, Bicom Therapy, João de Deus Crystal Bed, Kinesiology, Reflexology, Healing, Reiki, Flower and Gem essences, Homeopathy, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Shiatsu, Qxci / Scio, Introspect / Physiospect.

We endeavor to offer all of the above therapies for all the programs, but some therapies are subject to the availability of the therapist. The cost for all extra treatments is from €65 to €100 per session.

With the recent change in regulations, we now have to pay up to 20% IVA for some of our services. We do not charge you for this. Nor do we add the room tax, nor the cost of processing credit cards. All of these are included in the cost. On the other hand if you pay by cash or cheque or direct transfer, we will give you a 4% discount. Returning clients will get a 6% discount, plus a 4% discount for cash, transfer or cheques only.

Transport to and from Moinhos Velhos is not included but pick up from Lagos is free.

Arrival at Faro airport:

If you would like us to pick you up at Faro Airport, please advise us of your flight number and the time of your arrival and we will be there to meet you. Upon entering the arrival hall TURN LEFT and look for somebody with our sign "Moinhos Velhos".
